Kritia begins with official text and identifies the publisher of every item. Commentary is useful, but it is never allowed to wear the label of law.
Source order
Enacted text and official journals come first, followed by courts, regulators and government publications. Secondary analysis is used for interpretation or leads and is identified as analysis.
Publication labels
A proposal, consultation or announced measure is labelled “not law yet”. The country tracker distinguishes binding designations from proposed or unverified arrangements.
Publication checks
Human-authored issues are reviewed before publication. Automated issues must pass source, date, quotation, claims and independent evidence checks; any weak result is skipped. They are visibly labelled as AI-generated and state that no human editorial review occurred.
Corrections
Corrections to dated issues are labelled on the issue page with an updated date. Dataset corrections receive a new version or snapshot. No silent rewrite is promised as a substitute for a visible correction.
